Neurodivergent young people
For teenagers and young adults navigating friendships, school, study, identity, emotions, expectations and the transition into adulthood.
Warm, practical support for neurodivergent young people aged 10–24 and adults — including people with ADHD, autism, late-identified adults, and people exploring whether neurodivergence helps explain their experiences.

Warm. Practical. Down-to-earth.
Sometimes life just feels like a lot
Maybe you’re overwhelmed, burnt out, stuck, constantly trying to keep up, or wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else feel so exhausting.
Maybe you’ve spent years adapting, masking or trying to meet everyone else’s expectations. Or perhaps you’re a young person trying to work out who you are and where you fit.
You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what needs to change. I’m here to work alongside you — without judgement, without pressure and without expecting you to fit into a particular mould.
Who I work alongside
For teenagers and young adults navigating friendships, school, study, identity, emotions, expectations and the transition into adulthood.
For adults who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, stuck or exhausted from trying to keep everything together.
For people beginning to understand themselves differently after discovering ADHD, autism or other aspects of neurodivergence later in life.
You don’t need a diagnosis or a neatly packaged reason for coming to counselling. Sometimes you just know something isn’t working anymore. That’s enough.
Maybe some of this sounds familiar
Your brain feels like it has 47 tabs open.
You’re exhausted from trying to keep up.
You know what you should be doing but can’t seem to get yourself there.
Relationships can feel complicated or exhausting.
You spend a lot of energy trying to appear like you’ve got everything together.
You’re experiencing burnout, questioning who you are, or wondering why you’ve always felt different.
Neurodiversity-affirming support
My role isn’t to teach you how to fit more comfortably into expectations that may never have suited you in the first place.
Counselling can instead be a place to understand yourself, your experiences and the ways you navigate the world. I work with neurodivergent young people and adults, including people with ADHD and autism, as well as people who are exploring whether neurodivergence might help explain some of their experiences.
You don’t need a diagnosis to talk to me.
About Bec
I’m a counsellor who believes you don’t need to have everything sorted before you ask for help.
I’ve spent many years working alongside adolescents, young people and families, and I’ve seen how exhausting it can be when people feel like they’re constantly trying to keep up with expectations that don’t always make sense to them.
My experience working with neurodivergent young people has shaped the way I work. I’m interested in the person behind the label — what life actually feels like for you, what’s getting in the way and what might help.
I’m warm, practical and down-to-earth. I won’t pretend to have all the answers, and I don’t believe counselling should feel like you’re being talked at by someone who has their life perfectly together.
Sometimes having someone alongside you is enough to make the next step feel possible.

How I work
You’re met with empathy, respect and acceptance. Sessions are guided by what feels most important to you.
We notice what already works and build from there rather than treating you as a list of problems to solve.
Safety, trust, choice and connection sit at the heart of the work. You don’t have to revisit anything before you’re ready.
You don’t need to…
You can talk about what’s happening without having everything labelled.
You don’t need to prepare the perfect explanation of why you’re here.
Counselling isn’t only for when things have completely fallen apart.
Sometimes figuring that out is part of the work.
